The run up to Christmas

Every year, we get to this time and we forget what we need to buy, what's essential and what we already have at home. Maybe we need a reminder of the key things!

-Batteries 🔋 - AAA, AA, D, C etc. Batteries for Christmas decorations, for children's toys on Christmas morning when all they want it to play with their new toy car.

-Fairy Lights 🧚‍♀️ - whether they're for the tree, for the banister of the stairs, or to wrap around your head board, you cannot forget these little twinkly lights at this time of year. (B&M have a huge range).

-Winter essentials for your car 🚗 - Waking up in the morning to go to work is bad enough without having to scrape ice off your windscreen or without being able to touch your steering wheel it's that cold! Don't forget to stock up on De-Icer and invest in a pair of gloves (I recommend leather ones), and an ice scraper too!

-Cello-tape, Wrapping Paper and Gift Tags/Bags 🎁 - there isn't anything worse than wrapping all your Christmas presents to find you have no gift tags! Or what about Jen from the office, you bought her a bottle of bubbly and haven't got a gift bag for it! Don't forget to stock up. If you purchase too much, put it away for next year!

-Oven Light Bulbs 💡 - an odd one, I know, but they do have a tendency of going at this time of year. If you know the make and model of your oven, you should be able to find the correct bulbs online or in your local electrical shop.

-Seasonal Medication 💊 - every year we all end up with the sniffles or a bit of a sore throat, do not forget to stock up on cough syrup, lozenges, painkillers. It's awful when you wake up one morning with a cold, to find you have nothing in to sooth it just makes it worse.

-Test Smoke Alarms 🚨 - this is a must!! Do not forget to test your smoke alarms this year before Christmas!!

This year is difficult enough without forgetting supplies you need! Make sure you're all set this Christmas 🎄.
